Privacy
This site doesn’t collect anything about you on its own. This page will grow as the interactive parts arrive; it describes the site as it is today.
What this site does
- No cookies, no analytics, no trackers, and no advertising.
- Fonts are served from this site, not from a font service.
- If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your own browser (localStorage) so the next page uses it. It never leaves your device.
What third parties see
- GitHub Pages hosts the site. Like any web host, GitHub receives your IP address and browser details when you load a page; see GitHub’s privacy statement.
- GitHub activity on the homepage is refreshed by your browser from GitHub’s public API (api.github.com), so GitHub sees that request too. The result is cached in your browser’s session storage: reused for up to 30 minutes and cleared when you close the tab.
- Videos load nothing from YouTube until you click play. Then the player loads from youtube-nocookie.com, and YouTube’s own policies apply.
- The CS-UDT demo loads map software (unpkg.com), map tiles (OpenStreetMap) and a QR-code library (cdnjs.cloudflare.com). Its citizen client keeps your demo reports, with any location you attach, in this browser’s localStorage, and a relay QR code you show passes a report’s text and location to whoever scans it. The demo page has the details.
